How to Add the Template to Your Notion Workspace
- Open the template link you received after purchase.
- Click Duplicate in the top-right corner.
- Select the workspace where you want the template installed.
- The template will now appear in your workspace.
If the duplicate button does not appear, make sure you are logged into your Notion account.
How the Template Is Organized
Books Database
The Books database is the main hub of the template.
Each book can include:
- author information
- genres
- series connections
- quotes from the book
- awards associated with the book
- reading status
Common reading statuses include:
- To Read
- Reading
- Break

- Not Reading
Authors Database
The Authors database stores information about writers connected to your books.
Each author can be linked to multiple books in your library.
Genres Database
Genres allow you to categorize books by theme or style, making it easier to filter your reading list.
Examples might include:

Quotes Database
Use the Quotes database to store memorable passages from books.
Each quote can be connected to the book it came from.
Awards Database
The Awards database allows you to track notable literary awards connected to books or authors.
Notes Inbox
The Notes Inbox is designed for quickly capturing reading notes or ideas before organizing them.
You can later connect those notes to books, authors, or genres.
Customizing the Template
This template is designed to be flexible.
You can customize it by:
- adding new database properties
- creating additional filtered views
- adding new genres or categories
- linking books to other databases in your workspace
Troubleshooting
I cannot duplicate the template
Make sure you are logged into your Notion account and viewing the template page in a browser.
The template duplicated but looks empty
Some database views may include filters. Try switching to another view to see all entries.
Template Updates
Templates may occasionally receive improvements.
Updates can usually be applied manually to your existing template.
